In a natural relationship, the true colors of the two people involved get revealed when they go through a tough time. The same is true in our spiritual relationship with God. He shows us who He is and it’s shown where we stand with Him. Just like when it begins to rain and the baby chicks take refuge under the wings of the mama hen, God wants us to do the same with Him.
{Psalm 57:1 (NKJV), “Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by.”}
God is our shield. He’s our protector, our refuge. With God, we can endure the storm. Without Him, we can be overtaken. Get caught up in God – not the storm!
